Lawn Mowing Service
Our lawn mowing service involves mowing the entire lawn with lightweight mowers, weed eating along all paths, fences, flowerbeds, foundations and trees, and clean up of all trimmings. Weed eating or 'line trimming' in the correct direction keeps grass clippings out of your flower beds. Driveways and walkways are air-blown each visit to maintain a tidy appearance.
Mower blades are sharpened before each shift to ensure clean,
consistent cuts throughout the day.
We will be happy to provide a fast, free estimate the same day you call. Regular weekly mowing is highly recommended if you fertilize your lawn, use a sprinkler system, or want to improve the appearance of your lawn.
Lawn Treatments
Precision's program includes an extensive, gradual release fertilizer that is applied 4 times per season. Our fertilizers contain the nutrience required for our cool-season, North American grasses.
Over-seeding your lawn once a year is a great way to sustain a green, lush lawn while fighting off white grubs, disease, and drought damage.
Our soil test determines both the type and quantity of lime required to help balance the acidity in a lawn, based on it's pH level. It also indicates any mineral deficiencies in the earth. Different turf types require different acidic levels to achieve the richest appearance possible.
Cedar Hedge & Property Trimming
This is one service we receive many compliments for. We are well trained in meticulous trimming of cedar hedges, shrubs, decorative grass and more. All clippings are disposed of.
We also stress the importance of thinning, pruning, and elevating ornamental trees. This promotes sufficient air circulation, good health, and a rich appearance.
Hedge trimmers and shears are regularly sharpened to ensure a professional job, every time. Dull trimmers cause discoloration and/or brownness.
Light to medium trimming of cedar hedges throughout the year is acceptable, however, any major shaping to correct overgrowth can promote irreversible damage to a cedar hedge.
Leaf Removal & Seasonal Cleanup
This job includes picking up all leaves, twigs and pine needles from your lawn and flower beds. We select the correct equipment to get the job done efficiently, based on the size of your property.
We are extra cautious when working close to your gardens, and careful not to remove any wood chips, decorative stone or cedar mulch you may have in your flower beds.
Spring and Fall Clean-ups: By picking up leaves during regular mowing service, we significantly minimize the labour involved in manually removing leaves from your property. Occasionally, this can eliminate the need for a leaf clean up all together.
